1. Start with your existing wardrobe. Think about how you wear your outfits. What do you like best? What do you only wear grudgingly? In each case--why? Spend some time with a mirror and think about this. Then ask why you don't wear things like the stuff you like all the time

One qu was stion about a tailor: I've thought about it over the years, and aside from the cost (which, I just got a 50% pay raise, so I can afford it now), I have about 80 lbs of weight I'm working on. I'm concerned about getting stuff tailored thats just going to stop fitting.

Yeah that's tricky. If you're planning to recomp, best to hold off I think. At this point my clothes actually are a commitment device to stay in shape--i get too big and suddenly I'm naked

I started paying attention to my appearance w regard to clothes a while back. I hit the wall of diminishing returns quickly. Posture, self concept and fitness were way more important. When I think a lot about clothes, it is usually a sign something is wrong in some other area
