They did offer NASA a couple of their defunct scopes after hubble went sideways, didn't they? Assume those were intended for outward imaging (??)

Isn't that fairly well known? They've certainly offered NASA their unwanted stuff in the past. Though, I imagine the JW will be slightly more useful for astronomy, being pointed outward
