the tax suspension is irrelevant for most, as it only defers payment. eviction moratorium similar. it's just delaying the fuckening.

presumably shock or confusion at these events implies a belief they are more significant than that. one could mistakenly guess that "suspension" of a tax means it is not due for the duration.

i don't think there is a reason to be dismissive of potential confusion. not everyone is familiar with these subjects and many are exhausted. a direct and to-the-point description of what the implication is may well help people.
