Some people like basically every reply to them. I'd expect the constant repeated "I accept and welcome your response" signals would become offensively, meaninglessly rote to me eventually, but no, I guess twitter is so hostile to conversation by default that it's genuinely needed

So a drive by liking for the decent and actual engagement for the genuinely good produces better results than ignoring most and liking only the good? Certainly produces more engagement. The Skinner box is no joke

Doesn't reinfircement generally get better training outcomes than punishment though (dogs are exactly the same as humans imo (they're both hopelessly warped by domestication c:)) if the reinforcement signal gets weaker at the expense of creating a punishment signal..
