Yeah I’ve gotten into it with (fellow?) libertarians on this. The catch with liberty is that its benefits apply equally to people you don’t agree with, much less like.

There’s no contradiction between wanting to curb the federal government’s power trip while also demanding people who cause property damage be punished. The local authority’s failures are going to have an impact on the entire nation.
