What do you think of the argument that the CCP is coming to dominance at a point where authoritarianism can be scaled efficiently through tech, for the first time? i.e. that we're reaching an "authoritarianism singularity"

Interesting, I hope this is true in this era. What do you think of e.g. Nazi rocket science or Soviet physics à la Landau, Cherenkov, etc? I mean, they clearly lost the long game, but do you consider those to be valid counter-examples?
