overall i would say "black lives matter" vs "all lives matter" is the dumbest argument we have had in some time people actually argue about slogans this is embarrassing and undignified, but inevitable

its not all motte and bailey either rather any Idea that becomes a Movement of any considerable size is that it has to be legible to IQ 90 people who want to participate and the way you get there is by condensing a body of thought into a three word slogan for for Shouting

if you are trying to get some Movement off the ground here are some things to consider

1. How can I get my ideas implemented without popular support so that I can lean on an IQ 110-accessible executive summary rather than an IQ 90 slogan

2. If (1) is impossible, what kind of slogan can I establish ahead of time that is not painfully dumb 3. (2) doesnt matter that much anything you write will be misinterpreted and used by the dumbest people who agree with you as a cudgel for the outgroup so get ready for that

generally i would say that popular movements are to be avoided you either die obscure or live to see your ideas become cringe
