20s were mostly a time when I was constrained by money. 30s I am mostly constrained by time and to a slightly lesser extent energy. I'm a little more recumbent in general.

In my twenties I was mostly focused on myself and how to make a place for myself (implicitly I did not have such a place). Thirties I am more focused on securing what I have built, and on taking care of others. My sense of self has expanded in this way.

@selentelechia had a very good excerpt from Hyperion, where the Counselor's grandfather (21yo) was talking to the Counselor's grandmother (37yo, because space travel) and discussing the difference I think very neatly.
