stray thought certain behaviors are acceptable (in some sense) when an agent is weak that are not acceptable when an agent is strong convincing yourself that you are weak may be a trick to give yourself permission to act badly

Likewise, being told you’re strong or hold some sort of implicit power might inhibit willingness to behave certain ways that would be otherwise beneficial, maybe even crucial to growth

The mental health of the incoming generation of kids being raised with disproportionate notions of implicit power that don’t exist nearly to the extent they’ll be told. And the inevitable backlash when some realize their own parents willingly did this to them starting in infancy
