I'm sad that the word "diversity" has come to be associated with a few narrow and not even very useful dimensions. A room full of straight white men (or of black lesbians, etc) can be—and typically is—hugely diverse in significant ways. Humans are so complex.

Which kinds of diversity are important but don't get enough attention? some of mine: - diversity of age - diversity of expertise - diversity of embodied skill - diversity along rational–emotional axis - diversity of political affiliation/belief - diversity of deeply held values

No one cares about diversities not enforced by the EEOC I am not being dismissive I am only saying those are the only ones that matter to large organizations and hinting at why
