1. Block lists Self-explanatory. Want to identify certain bad actors and limit exposure. Have ideas about how to do this effectively but will discuss in other fora.

A common tactic used by illiberal groups is arranging for someone to be destroyed for speech that was heretofore well within civil bounds. Executing this is tricky, because certain outlets (eg: Quillette) that attempt this end up being simply written out of the Overton window and ignored . . . or something. The dynamic isn't legible to me yet but it seems like cracking it might suggest a counter. Thinking on this.

And sadly this means kindness, civility, fair-mindedness, intellectual honesty and good faith argument will have to be demoted below winning for a while. The seething, caustic, amoral-in-moral-garb urge to power and destruction of radicals needs a callous and ferocious response.

Example: I've stopped acknowledging factual errors because I see that's what they do to us. I say something to get my side riled up, an opponent points out I've misstated something, I ignore them. It's painful, but "the worst are filled with passionate intensity" is a documentary

Be shameless. Exploit loopholes. Appeal to emotion. Shout down. Belittle. Intimidate. Choose expedient bedfellows. You don't have to do this forever. Maybe 3-6 years. Then we can return to civilized life.
