Incubation is not enough being warm doesnt solve that problem "I am hungry I shall simply out on a blanket"

And chicks come out cheeping and walking and eating food that hasnt been predigested. Imagine how big it would have to be to get us out developed enough to walk.

Humans take 13x longer to hatch compared to a chicken. Human newborn are 80x the mass of a newborn chick.
-
… Also, adult humans are only 17x the mass of a newborn. Adult chickens are 60x the mass of a newborn.

Baby takes 75,000 calories to make, egg yolk is 3 calories per ml, so 25 litres in volume, 18cm radius. I am approximating to a sphere - although I suspect that there are *reasons* chickens do not.

Lotta that egg has to remain as structure tho Hmm

I looked it up, and a chicken hatchling weighs approx. 70% of the weight of the egg, and take 21 days to hatch. Assuming egg->chick conversion is an exponential decay (r=1.7%), and a human birth weight is 3.5kg after 280 days: A human egg would weigh 408 kg
