I do not imagine good programs for middle class children even exist and I say that as a solidly middle class kid

in my experience, MOST of the programs that do exist serve the middle class they may have connections to get preferential placement their parents can afford relocation to areas that provide program eligibility their parents are likely to know/teach the right words to get help

even knowing the words "mentorship" or "community grant" and understanding that you can seek out help and guidance from people willing to donate time and money is literally a foreign concept to people born into severe poverty the internet helps nowadays, easier to learn lingo
