It’s a little bit disingenuous ? Ton written about restorative justice but I’m fine to see a slight uptick in vengeance with a huge downtick in incomprehensible violence that actually helps no one in society (you smoke plant! Live in cage now!) and happy to own that part of it

I mean I think the abolish/reform distinction is mostly a mcguffin anyway—actual ideas for this stuff have huge phased plans executed over years, starting with a lot of the low hanging fruit like nonviolent drug crimes anyway was the ship of theseus abolished? or reformed?
