Apart from the twisty hallways, there are heavy doors that I think can be automatically closed and locked

UW's Red Square has a similar (alleged) purpose, more subtle Its current incarnation was built in 1969 Pay no attention to the gorgeous library--focus on the red bricks They're incredibly smooth, and very slippery when wet Student riot? Just wet them down, problem solvedpic.twitter.com/cJ4xbkXssQ

RIT's campus was built this way, but because of the brick facade rather than drab concrete or w/e it's perfectly pleasant to look at I liked it tbh
-
Also while RIT has a main pathway (the "quarter mile") between the dorms and academic buildings, there are multiple paths, and multiple squares, so if you occupy one people can just route around you easily so it's difficult to be disruptive

While people have always said that about UW Madison, particularly the Humanities Bldg, apparently there's good evidence against it (particularly that the plans predate Dow Day etc riots in mid 60s).
