i guess if there comes a point where you find yourself defending ppl mobbing an immobilized old lady you should reflect a bit about the sequence of decisions that has led you to this point

you dont have to defend every action of anyone who agrees with you about Issue de Jure indeed you may find your cause more successful in the long if you give ground some hills are simply not good places to die

Nice humble brag though I gotta respect the knife disarming game seeing as I lack it 100%.

I did get stabbed in one of the encounters but he felt really bad about it afterward

My first was a junkie where I made fun of his flat tire when I was 12 and he proceeded to pull a knife from his sleeve. Second was my best friend at 15, who tried to stab me, I threw the knife in the canal, after which he started crying that it was a gift from his grandfather

guy pulled a knife on me when I was 19. he was much larger than me and remained in firm possession of said knife throughout the entire exchange.
-
i did not beat him up afterward for a variety of the reasons (the knife and his size both being big contributors) but I'd like to think my humanitarian restraint played a role as well!
