He may well be, and I’m not particularly taking it seriously in and of itself, it’s just that this entire language and attitude is becoming more and more prevalent and there are more people who are starting to buy in to it. Being 16 or 26 doesn’t make much difference imo.

I mean, if you can find me a formal study on this, I’d be really interested in reading it, but things like the phrases “incel” or “redpill” are becoming mainstream in a way they really weren’t even 6 or 7 years ago; they used to be niche phrases in small in groups. Ideas spread.

I mean, I remember when incel was a word really only used on 4chan and not in the common lexicon of “being online”, full on internet dwellers have a wider reach now and the movement has gained popularity, I don’t really think that’s up for debate
