I think he's been an effective popularizer for his key ideas. The fact that he had "skin in the game" for his key concepts, like the black swan stuff, with his own financial investments in relation to the late 2000s financial crisis did a lot to sell his ideas, probably

I wouldn't say he's all that original though I wouldn't know all that well either. I suppose he would probably admit it himself, with his praise of 'lindy' concept and so on. Anyone you would recommend that covers his key concepts better?

hes extemely virgin a quant midwit you should hear the way heavy economists talk about him when hes not in the room the stories from conferences. everyone has an anecdote about dunking on him (he doesnt show his face at these anymore)
