This is my favorite Talmudic story. I really do love the depiction of God as a being who can be talked to and have his mind changed by humans rather than some mastermind who has planned everything in advance.

Hence why I have a lot of respect for my namesake, Avraham, for arguing with God against the Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, while I lost a lot of respect for Noah because he did not argue with God against the destruction of the entire world!
