My biggest gripe with LessWrong culture is its almost universal humorlessness. It's shocking how few jokes Rationalists make, and how many they don't get. You don't see this critique made often because the only people stodgier than rats are those who hate and sneer at them.

Every other community I've been a part of did skits, or funny videos, or wrote a satire magazine. This includes business school and my military unit, which did all three. But I can't get Rationalists to do any of that. Is anybody else out there looking to make Rationality funny?

i pretty consistently get quality humor from my twitter feed, which is almost all rat or rat adjacent actually 80% of the really funny stuff in my feed is from
