stanford's in there but I've also worked with undergrad stanford cs and i must say i was not impressed is undergrad/grad program divergence normal?

Im overbroad, you can get a great technical econ education in undergrad at many schools You just have to really look for it I did mine at UMN, they had a parallel honors version of every upper division course, each taught by a different psychotic grad student No Mercy Shown

Most infamous programs at UCT are physics and actuarial science. In physics we were often taught several weeks of the math course in one week, because we had to apply the stuff and South Africans don't typically learn calculus in undergrad.

The only way you get to learn measure theory in undergrad is to take stats courses which are mostly comprised of aspiring actuaries.

Yeah I usually had to do math catch-up when I taught 300-level econ Nothing hard, just optimization, but it took a long time for a bunch of people who allegedly had taken a year of calc
