trying to model the thought process of people who think trying to defund WHO right now is even remotely sane and failing

It's funny- because I see the only possible excuse for NOT defending the WHO right now would be if a group of WHO employees responsible for accepting and trumpeting the Chinese disinfo were rounded up and publicly hung. Show me you mean business reforming, or gtfo.

I mean there's what would feel good (Daisy clipper on UNHQ) and what would actually be effective in attaining some specific ends other than feeling good Not clear this leads to changes we want Could go either way Hard to say

politically he kind of manipulated his opponents into defending the WHO which... is surely a losing position in the next election cycle given their [misinformation] contributions to the outbreak

things are moving very quickly
many things good and bad that were impossible six months ago seem within reach now
really hard to know what's actually good when so many parts have become moving parts

WHO does other things and you should at least have a plan to who's going to deliver the vaccination's in poor countries and stuff
-
Yup I worry about that too Although how much of that's covered by MSF and other orgs vs WHO directly?
