Why do you think China's power projection is limited? I'm not really familiar at all with the logistics of war, but at this point my assumption is that China is at least as competent as the US at any state function. Agree about Taiwan though.

I would argue that's a temporary problem for them. Xi is more concerned with power projection and a strong military than raising poor country Chinese out of poverty

No US would probably be involved there May have been unclear on this Hard to say how involved Wed have months to decide tho the invasion would be extremely visible in advance
