her remnants books were also good, bizarre sci-fi where earth is destroyed by a meteor and the survivors land on a planet(? space station?) controlled by an ai that's using the ship's archives to try to make earth for them, with mixed results. at one point they end up in hell

She did a series about mythology too. A bit “american gods”esque. I remember liking it a lot as a kid.
