we did figure out how to vaccinate against dengue, which is the best established example of ADE it was very hard and it's not the best vaccine but it is there

answering for halvorz bc assume he's sick of bother get infected with strain A crush A, build immunity get infected with strain B later immunity to A fucks up your response to B and also lets B kill a ton of your immune system cells for (boring reasons) so you get extra sick
