Not an attorney in your state, can’t give legal advice, etc. but let me know if I can help. One idea: the firm I work for will sometimes ghost-write for people who want to remain in pro per for whatever reason; perhaps your guy would go for that option?

Oh maybe. I could ask. Anything would be better at this point. Thank you.

I hope it helps. I’ll see if I can think of anything else, free resources which might help, etc. Very generally, what kind of matter is it (if you don’t mind saying)?

Hard to say because I don't trust his renditions of the story which frequently change and universally exculpate him Had his license suspended for not paying a ticket but maybe he'd paid it, got pulled over for reckless driving probably, cops saw suspension, . . . etc

guess he drove off after they told him to not drive and they arrested him, there may be multiple charges details are very unclear to me but he's been emailing the DA trying to get it "straightened out" also he works as a courier so losing his license would be Bad

I think the main issue is that he's basically unreliable in his stories so it's not clear what's going on and also he refuses to take any suggestions for course changes as anything but personal attacks
