I’ve been thinking about what causes this level of disruption with such a low fatality rate. What percent of infected people are incapacitated for a few weeks? What percentage need to go to an ICU? Disruption could be significant even if most people ultimately do not die.

China was pretty good on rates in their complete lies of official numbers, with the caveats of Chinese air quality, mass transit, and plumbing/housing arrangements. * x8 weekly spread (x3 globally) * 2.x% deaths * 10% ICU

10% ICU, now like, how many ICU spots do we have in the USA total, and by state?

I have heard that we have 925K beds total. This is going to be *so bad*.

I wonder if there is any way to get a figure for total free hospital beds? I mean I guess a number like that might not be anywhere publicly accessible in real time
