I'm not sure if this counts as a time loop story, but maybe check this out: "In the year 2045, an MRI mishap transmits Tabitha Moore's mind back into her body in the past. Now it's 1998, she's thirteen years old, and she has to confront her long, miserable lifetime of failures.."

It is very vell written, and I mean it. Great style, well thought-out plot. Plot, which has some trauma healing, so maybe this is also a plus.https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21322/re-trailer-trash …

Keen. I'd add Time Braid. I couldn't watch the show because the female protagonist was so useless. She's the looper in the story. The chapter of her, alone on the mountain is my zen happy place. https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5193644/1/Time-Braid …

There's also some actual books of this sort: Replay by Ken Grimwood First Fifty Lives of Harry August by Claire North (although I found myself much more sympathetic to the villain than the protagonist)

Thanks for the recommendations! I think I should read "Story of Your Life" by Ted Chiang, which I think has some similar elements, judging from the movie "Arrival".

If you want to dip your toes into Ted Chiang, I found his short story, Exhalation just beautiful. http://www.lightspeedmagazine.com/fiction/exhalation/ …

This story reminds me a little bit of "Fables for Robots" by Stanislav Lem. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fables_for_Robots …
