What's the goal? It's often a great experience but unless you have an outcome in mind you might end up setting a pile of money on fire If you just need compute I've got a workstation I'm not much using you're welcome to remote into

All of those things will come true :) On the last point I'd sit down, come up with a set of desired uses, and build around those. Eg, if you plan to do a lot of NN work focus more on GPU selection and integration; if you like GBT CPU will be more important. Databases, RAM
