ok prep stuff just in case 1. what are three (3) good foods to store in airtight containers? Was thinking almond granola, others? Better not to have to cook it prolly 2. If filled completely, is a reducing compound required to maintain freshness in airtight container?

I’ve researched this before and fell down an internet rabbit hole of people eating super old canned goods and MREs and blogging about it. Now I never throw out canned goods. Worst case, I’ll be glad to have it. Otherwise my kids will probably YouTube themselves tasting it one day

Yes canned tuna eventually goes bad. Mostly due to manufacturing flaws allowing air in over years or decades. But modern canning is probably good for a decade or more and kept cool and dry probably well longer
