ok prep stuff just in case 1. what are three (3) good foods to store in airtight containers? Was thinking almond granola, others? Better not to have to cook it prolly 2. If filled completely, is a reducing compound required to maintain freshness in airtight container?

5. Can one still buy Polar Pure (little eyedropper vials with iodine crystals that slowly diffuse into water you fill em with, then you put that water into prepotable water) anywhere?

Whey protein will go bad after a couple few years even in perfect conditions. Milk solids like fat and protein gets real bad quite quickly. Five years is probably the max possible safe edible storage but I bet it'd be getting rancid

Maybe hydrolyzed protein? Then again one buys the canisters just filled half - dunno where this stupid practice comes from but bad for prepping.
