immediately conceding the moral ground in a Twitter argument (and sometimes outside of it) is a fun tactic many people dont know what to do then and you can visualize them flailing "what do I argue about now"

If you argue the core logic then none of that matters Anyone doing that would know ceding the moral ground only signals unwillingness to engage in the dialectic so they would probably just stop But if they/you are just playing mind games to begin with then sure I suppose
