Also, if you get to an age where you are likely to have accumulated more than you need for retirement, any nonprofit you’ve given to will contact you about it. Kinda feels a little ghoulish, but my dad has already named several nonprofits in his will beyond what his children get.

Most of that wealth will just get trapped in illiquid investments (real estate) and then evaporate when people figure out nobody is there to buy that shit (outside of big cities) because every subsequent generation is getting smaller and golden retrievers/cats cant get a mortgage
