tbh climate change denialism has the opposite problem of a lot of this-- the explanations for why this isn't what the science fears it is are often very sophisticated and the basic climate change explanation is very simple.

iirc effect is something like spectrophotometric, ie negative second derivative--maybe logarithmic can't get to runaway heating with CO2 level alone
