Love is the obvious one, based on an ungodly number of work stories I have. But I think “satisfaction,” and for others the lack thereof, are probably the most widespread.
-
Both love and satisfaction are fleeting, often felt after their object is gone or while it is being pursued. Emotions are meant to drive us to some action to obtain something, or avoid losing something. They are not reliable to assess what is, unless we actively imagine losing it

Hey, some of us are just emotionless robots that have to pretend or people think we're all "weird"

I mean surely all of the right? At some point a pure psychopath mime empathy and the nicest person in the world will pretend to laugh at a joke to spare feelings.
