Hm Kind of interesting that different Group's seem not to much identify as hyphenated americans anymore Just dropping the American label altogether Don't think I've even seen African-American in a while Seems like a bad sign

Hmm Would you prefer an America where your political outgroup had the upper hand for the most part to Whatever Comes After America? "Yes" if the first option. Sorry its 2x2 pick a side I wont hold it against you or just wait a few minutes this one is short for that purpose

Agree, American, rightist (maybe? At least how I voted). The condensed reason is there are many more negative outcomes than positive outcomes and no one with enough power / influence is moving toward a positive outcome. Not sure a longer response would make sense on Twitter

"there are many more negative outcomes than positive outcomes" - this thing rattles in my head again and again But you mean in general or at the moment?

As a Canadian, I'm pretty sure we will be worse off as a Chinese client state than as an American one

Historically, when empires collapse bad things happen. I suspect lots of wars, invasion's, etc in resource rich areas our power implicitly made off limits to the other big players will happen. Being in a lot of Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa will be hell on Earth for years.
