Occupy felt that way. Street movements often do. I remember many of the Occupiers being incoherent, or at complete disjoint with one another other than “rich bad, bank buyout bad, nobody listens”, which I empathized with, but it was clear that’d go nowhere.

You’ll also remember the protests in Egypt around that time: no concise goals other than the ouster of the president. The Muslim Brotherhood was easily toppled post-coup by the military, and a dictator sieved power because of incoherence. The issue was natnl mood mismanagement.
