I’ve always called myself culturally Mormon, though I’m an (hard, never believer) atheist- that’s how I think of most atheists, too; “atheism” doesn’t have much actual cultural content, except for fedoras and reddit and Cargo Science.

I know of Holland's work. But these kinds of arguments are weird. It's like people saying that Rome didn't fall because we still have latin words in our vocabulary, roman architecture, and our judicial system is descended from roman system.
