Yeah the antagonists in the narrative here are the FBI, the federal judiciary, universities, and the fucking journal access system. Not hard to look good against that.

not sure if I'm clear on the sequence of events but I think it goes like he downloads shit tons of stuff from jstor, which is copyrighted, from someone else's network he then distributes it online he gets caught and indicted everything here seems...fine? good, even?
