Ditto on what king and chief said, and have you checked out any subrreddits like /r/fitness or looked at picking up a copy of Starting Strength? They're super helpful for learning how to get into lifting if you've never done it before also glad to answer questions!

Oh yes. It's actually a REALLY excellent book and concept, and taking squat + DL from oh... 115 to 245 in about a month is probably the best workout you can do. OTOH, I wish literally anyone had said "You're too tall for deadlift, stop right now".

I lost like 20 kg (45 pounds) of fat in 2019, but this is not Virtuous, because it was because I was too stressed to eat some days. But it would be good to get trurly 40th-percentile fit.
