Fiscally, I'm about where I started 2019. Emotionally, I'm marginally better off on the good days. Educationally, I don't feel any different, but I do know more. Just still trying to find the change that's going to stick this time, I guess.

I guess there's always going to be a hint of envy in me towards the people whose career plans worked out. Kind of want a clean slate on something that hasn't conditioned me to feel such intense dread, even if that doesn't seem possible.

A big note I think I'll have to take from 2019 is that working for a living honestly is not a path to a stable life these days. I knew this, but I am a single 20-something who made $20/hr, 40+ hr/wk for most of the year and that amounted to...bills and eating out, mostly.
