Suppose a technology existed that let one control the homo/heterosexuality of a person by acting on a fetus in utero. Would you use this technology?

wow im surprised at 30% not use since this one's not potentially a mind-warper

Yeah I know right, being super attractive is like a mega super power. Coincidentally I was thinking about this yesterday while watching Shrek 2 with my gf, specifically the bit where he becomes human.

The logic that leads to the results of this poll and the one just prior is what allows us to rationalize treating children like lesser citizens with fewer rights.

the disparities between some of these polls are cracking me up "I don't want to mind control my kids!" oh but you're allowed to dictate their physical appearance? in a way more intrusive than any closet audit?
-
suggestions for other polls: +/- 15pts IQ, +/- 1SD (potential for) muscle strength I'd predict people go for these much stronger guessing pretty/ugly is considered similarly, just giving better tools to the kid, doesn't implicate 'sacred' free will

I love how more people would deliberate make their kids criminals than would make them ugly
