if you chose an option other than (A) on the second poll, mind explaining your reasoning? I can imagine several explanations and I'm curious how they gel with contemporary accounts of transgender Like, seems easily compatible with the Blanchard model but not with dysphoria?

secondary thought experiment: assuming a dysphoria model, are you more likely to do the -> cis version if you assume the magic chem is changing the gender identity to match the physical sex, or vice versa?

I feel like (some?) pro-trans people feel something like "the gender identity is the important/sacred part, changing it is unthinkable" related: imagine a pill that 100% cured gender dysphoria in adults by making you content with your body -- how do trans activists react?
