Let's do a third round. Same thing, but for Down syndrome. Hypothetical treatment detects presence or absence of trisomy-21 and either removes it or generates it in autosomes. No chance of side effects; no risks.

Assuming this doesn't increase the risk of killing the fetus? And doesn't result in the creation of numerous "disposable" fetuses along the way as many IVF methods do?
