Interesting thing about embryo selection is that its probably hardest to get good outcomes from people at a low starting point, wrt complex traits Direct genome tailoring is another beast entirely probably I know less about this approach

they won't beat us to it because it is an incredibly impractical goal, the only person I can think of who is remotely interested in something like this is George Church, and that's just 'cause he wants to resurrect mammoths
