the "emotional labor" crew want to make the value of their contributions more publicly acknowledged (good + right) but the only way they know to do that is commoditize it like we do all other labor (bad + wrong) so as a side effect they talk about it in perky corp-speak

They way to communicate this is simply to tell them that you can't deal with their shit right now. And as a functioning, empathetic human being, I get the message. If someone sent me such a "template" like they're some emotionless corporate business, I would be utterly repulsed.

Yeah, that's correct. The voice is what you'd use to speak with a customer service representative rather than what you might use to convey intimacy to a good friend.
