this is my issue with drone strikes in particular lotta wedding parties blown up just a lot of fucking wedding parties don't much think I'd like facilitating that or watching video of it after the fact

I think the reason for all the wedding strikes is in that part of the world weddings are really big and used to cement agreements so they're where you tend to find a bunch of big shots in one place scheduled predictably in advance

or they're incredibly badly targeted based on garbage intelligence or simply "hey a lot of people that seems suspicious" which is probably still better than deliberately hellfiring an entire extended family

I tend to think they're targeted on purpose because weddings are such a non-negotiable social norm for the most fanatical enemies. It's an exploitation of the enemy's cultural weakness, isn't it?

well they certainly don't just cruise a drone around Waziristan waiting for a big gathering of guys with beards. I don't think there's a policy of targeting weddings as such, you just take the first opportunity your target is spotted in public, and often that's a wedding.
