Does it matter? Nobody actually pays the "price"...unless there's some form of enforcement (hospitals can't offer discounts to insurers) it's just an irrelevant number.

He's sure getting ratioed as expected. Hard for me to understand the opposition. When I tore my arm, the cost for treatment was high but they only charged the insurance a little of it. Simple, consistent pricing makes sense, and published prices help. Oh well.
