Super weird Amazon package was not delivered, apparently driver didn't use door code on instructions and just called me Marked as missed delivery Bothered customer service and they marked it as lost and just gave a refund Which Fine but why?

So, what they’d lose in the grand scheme of things? Packaging time and material, the couple minutes it took the driver to fail at the delivery, the time it takes to unpack and re-add the item to the warehouse, and the cost of the time of the customer service rep?

Also, Maybe there are people who Amazon has decided are harder or more expensive to deliver to and they do this on purpose in the hope some will choose to get their future packages delivered to one of the Amazon storage box things instead.
