here's the thing that actually works: just do your best, and if there's chemistry she'll do her best too it has to be built on mutual trust, but these ladies recommend starting off from a position of deep mistrust

oh yeah something else: this is also the rational approach, whereas behaving like a chimp is not doing your best preserves the most option value. You always have the exit option.
